Alexandre Sueur (FRA) won Saturday’s Prestige League CSI1* 1.30 Grand Prix presented by EW Promotion.

Competing in the main ring Zoute Plage, only four of 48 riders moved on to the jump-off where Sueur rode the 9-year-old gelding Cayenne van de Moerhoeve (Taran de La Pomme x Nabab de Reve) to victory after crossing the finish line with another clear round in in 38.97 seconds.

Then followed three Belgian riders: Michael Van Den Bosch was a little over a second behind the winning time to slot into runner-up position aboard Jade Van Dorperheide (Zilverstar T x Parco) while Philippaerts-brothers Thibault and Anthony finished third and fourth riding Jaimi Van Dorperheide (Winningmood van de Arenberg x Cascavelle) and Goofy Van T Laerhof (Kashmir Van Schuttershof x Lord Z) respectively. Thibault had the fastest time in the jump-off, but unfortunately on the expense of four faults while Anthony finished on eight faults. Fifth place went to Lieven Devos, who recorded one time penalty in the first round.

Flo Norris (GBR) and Darling Hdh (Douglas x Oklund) took their third win in just as many days, when they kicked off Saturday’s Prestige League classes with a victory in the CSI1* 1.10m presented by Knokke Out. With a time of 30.54 seconds in phase two of the competition, the pair was almost a second faster than runners-up Eva Jennen and Forlando (For Pleasure x Cassini I) – best for the hosts. Another Belgian rider finished in third; Evelyne Putters on Dakota du Buisson Z (Dutch Capitol x Wolfgang).

The last Prestige League competition was again dominated by the home riders. Eva Jennen (BEL) won this 1.15 Table A with immediate jump-off presented by Eland / Stage Team, riding the 9-year-old mare Ilona V/D Fruitkorf (breeding unknown). A little over a second separated Jennen from Marthe Van Gorp (BEL) on Lajolie 3(Landfuerst x Cordalme), who this time had to settle for the runner-up position after winning both Thursday and Friday. Chloe Heyrman (BEL) finished third on Kasiopeja (Kotrak x Grandus).
