Prestige League: Argentinean win in Friday’s feature class
Richard Kierkegaard (ARG) clinched the victory in Friday’s biggest Prestige League class, the 1.30m presented by EHS. Aboard Igor de Vauxelles (Nonstop x Palestro Vd Begijnakker), Kierkegaard recorded a time of 65.14 in this speed competition – leaving three Belgian riders behind him to second, third and fourth place: Thomas Hermann, Tatiana Troiani and Stephanie Falisse.
In the morning, the Prestige League kicked off with a win for Ingrid Strom (FRA) in the 1.10m class presented by LAURICA PLANTS. Together with Rouf Brecourt (Quidam de Revel x Kayack), the French rider took the top honours in this speed class with a time of 58.55 seconds. Delphine Kindt (BEL) secured the second place for the host nation, riding Abercrombie (Ovidius x Voltaire) to a time of 62.94. Toscane Carloni Richard (FRA) continued her good form from Thursday to end third with Aloha des Rondets (Pacific des Essarts x Kannan).
Just like on Thursday, Axelle Deleu (BEL) took home a Prestige League win for the hosts. Riding New Dehli vh Waterschoot Z (Nabab de Reve x Royal Bravour), Deleu took the top honours in the 1.15m two-phase class presented by ELAND. A little over a second behind on the clock followed Lani Sutherland (USA) on Uranie (Joyeux Ardent x Ircolando), while third place went to Annelies Troubleyn (BEL) on Fleur (Querlybet Hero x Cash) – securing two home riders within the top three.
