Future Stars: Thunder G Z and Very High de Muze in the spotlight

In the Future Stars classes the 7- and 6- year-old horses took to the rings, jumping a 1.35m and a 1.25 track respectively.

It was Thunder G Z (Tyson x Dutch Capitol), ridden by Joe Clee (GBR), that was the best in the 7-year-old competition presented by Zangersheide. Only 0.03 seconds separated this couple from runner-up Gaesbekers Glamour Girl (Zirocco Blue x Caletto I) with Charlotte Bettendorf (LUX) in the saddle, so it was tight on top. Third place went to Stephex Stables’ own Jonna Ekberg (SWE) on Bakogan de St Jean (Kannan x Quelmek), with only 0.21 separating her from the winning time.

For the 6-year-old horses, Very High de Muze (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Garmisch) won the competition presented by Brussels Stephex Masters. Ridden by former World Champion Philippe Le Jenue (BEL), the gelding topped a highly competitive class ahead of four other Belgian pairs. Gregory Wathelet (BEL) and Mikias vd Bisschop (Cornet Obolensky x Kashmir Van Schuttershof) took the second place, while Hendrik De Nutte on Nazaro Z (Numero Uno x Calato Z) took the third place.
