Laurent Guillet and his 11-year-old stallion Sultan du Chateau (Kannan x Galoubet A) made it another French Grand Prix victory at the Knokke Hippique Summer Circuit, when going to the top in Sunday's CSI2* Super Cup Grand Prix.

Nearly 70 riders had lined up to compete in this 1.45m Grand Prix competition counting towards the World Ranking, and nine of them moved on to the jump-off. Against the clock, it was Guillet who was the fastest piloting his impressive stallion to a time no one else could match: 30.89 seconds.

Two British riders followed in second and third. Jessica Mendoza stopped the clock at 31.19 seconds riding Horst van de Mispelaere (Wandor van de Mispelaere x Polydor), while Peter Charles and ABC Quantum Cruise (Obos Quality x Cruising) finished the jump-off in 31.63 seconds.

Best of the home riders was Vincent Lambrecht, riding S&L Through The Loooking Glass (Arkan x Hairos) to a fourth place.
