Zoé Conter wins Ladies Cup: 'Best possible preparation for Europeans'
In the last week of the Summer Circuit in Knokke, Zoé Conter took home the victory in the Ladies Cup. The past four weeks have been exhausting, but very educational as well for Zoé Conter. On average, Zoé competed seven horses at the show. Besides some international victories, the Summer Circuit also gave Zoé a great deal of experience and routine and that will be of good use next week. Then Zoé will be competing at the Youth European Championships in Ireland.
In Knokke, Zoé Conter turned out the best Belgian lady rider as well. The crown on her work was without a doubt her victory in the 1.45m Ladies Cup aboard Soory de l'Hallali (by For Pleasure). Duch rider Lisa Nooren finished as runner-up riding VDL Groep Centora de Wallyro (by Cento). Also Zoé's sister Emilie Conter made it into the top ten, riding Cesanna.
Zoé Conter also had a top five finish in the 1.45m at the Albert Plage, riding the talented Irenice Horta (by Vigo d'Arsouilles). In the Youngster Final, Damien Haelterman took the victory with Jarcobond vd Oude Eik (by Vagabond de la Pomme). Zoé finished fourth in this competition riding Evidence (by Cornet Obolensky). Jérôme Guéry, who already took home a ribbon aboard Alicante, also finished in the top ten of the final for 7-year-olds with a Dutch bred horse by Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve.
