Tim Van Den Broeck took his young horses he also rode in the Belgian Cyclus to Knokke Hippique to prepare himself for the Belgian Championships in Gesves. In the competitions for 5-year-old horses he finished first, second and third this week. This morning, he could keep up his brilliant form in the final at the Zoute Plage. If he stays in a shape like this, who knows what will happen at the Belgian Championships?

This morning, Tim Van Den Broeck secured the victory aboard Lieve Vrouwke vd Lentamel (by Toulon) – a full sister of Carolien Buyens' Belgique vd Lentamel. Axel Vandoorne and Canora Z (by Clintissimo Z) finished as runner-ups. Great Britain's William Whitaker finished on third place with the Zangersheide approved stallion Luigi d'Eclipse (by Catoki), bred by owner Tal Milstein. Evelyne Van Vreckom finished on a sixth place aboard Ligie's Goldstar VV (by Norton d'Eole).
